Die BMW R69/S wurde von 1960-1969 insgesamt 11.317 mal gefertigt. Zu dieser Zeit galt sie mit 42 PS und einer Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 175 km/h als schnellstes deutsches Serienmotorrad und wurde daher auch in hohen Stückzahlen ins Ausland geliefert. Auch als Polizei- Maschine wurde sie oft eingesetzt.
Between 1960 and 1969, a total of 11,317 BMW R69/S were manufactured. With its 42 hp and a top speed of 175km/h, it was at the time the fastest German series motorbike and was therefore a high seller abroad. It was often used as a police vehicle. |
