Established in 1970,as Mario Ghizzardi “mechanical model-maker”, The firm has subsequently been named TECNOMODEL snc di Ghizzardi Ilario Gianluigi & C. This artisan firm started its activity with the construction of car models, ”prototypes” for the production of molds for die-casting and plastic materials and has among its clients the most important italian companies in the field of die-cast model-making. Mario's sons, Ilario and Gianluca, joined the firm when they were very young.

These craftsmen, besides maintaining the above activity, are also devoting themselves with strong passion to model-making and to the production of special car models made with the most care of details.

These car models are completely hand-made and assembled with craftsmenship skills, using material such as: resin, aluminium, brass, white metal and photoengraving, reproducing exactly and accurately all details in size and shape.

All the products are scrupulously checked before packing and distribution on the market.

Painting is carried out using the same technique as real car. 1/43 & 1/24 very detailed model. TECNOMODEL reproduces to the perfect scale of cars for adult collectors.
